Verkada has announced its integration with the Schlage Control series wireless locks, a significant development in their commitment to providing a comprehensive physical security solution for property management and multi-family residential access control deployments.
The Schlage Control series locks offer various features tailored for these applications, including direct cloud connection through the Schlage Engage hub, keyless entry for tenants, and designs suitable for multi-family doors. These locks also prioritize data security with AES-256 encryption for wireless communication.
With the addition of Schlage Control locks, Verkada’s access control portfolio is now even more robust, enabling secure access to dispersed doors while delivering a keyless experience for tenants. This integration further enhances the capabilities of Verkada’s Command platform, which includes;

- Smart apartment applications
- Perimeter access control
- Asset management and security
In addition to integrating with Schlage Control locks, Verkada also supports other wireless locks, such as the Schlage AD and Engage series, and the ASSA ABLOY Aperio series. Verkada has also introduced a new door page specifically designed for multi-family residence doors. This software update simplifies the configuration, management, and security of hundreds of doors across sites, providing property managers and admins with a consolidated view of doors, access permissions, users, and credentials. This feature is particularly beneficial for large deployments with numerous doors.
