We are pleased to announce four new products that bring enhanced functionality to the Verkada ecosystem. These products allow customers to improve visibility across their sites, unlock new use cases, and customize their security solution to meet their specific needs.
We have also introduced several new features that are made possible by our integrated Command platform.
New Products:
-
CP52-E: Our new pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera, the CP52-E, allows customers to monitor large areas. With a 5MP image sensor, 360-degree pan, and 220-degree tilt capabilities, this camera provides excellent detail and has a remarkably low latency. It features 28x optical zoom and infrared capabilities, making it ideal for low-light conditions.
-
Alarm License Tiers: Customers can now choose from three Alarm Licenses with different levels of professional monitoring. The Basic Alarm License provides alarm monitoring without video verification, while the Standard Alarm License includes 100 video verification events per month. The Premium Alarm License offers up to 1,000 video verification events per month.
-
BK11 and BK21 Alarm Keypads: Our new alarm keypads allow employees to easily arm and disarm their alarm system with a key code. These keypads also provide live camera feeds and display the status of every alarm device in the building. The BK21 keypad can also function as a wireless hub.
-
Guest for Healthcare: We have introduced a new user experience within Verkada Guest specifically designed for healthcare facilities. This integration now allows Verkada Guest to integrate with EMR systems, support patient-specific approve/deny lists, and track active visitors.
New Platform Features:
We have also released new capabilities that expand the cross-product integrations available in Verkada Command.
-
License Plate Recognition (LPR) Unlock: Users can now unlock parking lot gates with just their license plate. This capability uses a new peer-to-peer communication protocol to facilitate device interactions.
-
Events Overlay in History Player: Users can easily review events such as Person of Interest, License Plate of Interest, forced door open events, and vape events directly from the camera History Player.
-
Doors on Floorplans: Verkada Access Control doors can now be seen on floorplans, providing customers with a more comprehensive view of their facilities. Each door is color-coded to indicate its state.
-
Enhanced Alerts for Air Quality Sensors: Our newest tool helps address student vaping by combining People Analytics capabilities with alerts from our air quality sensors.
-
New Line Crossing and Loitering Alerts: Customers can now utilize line crossing and loitering alerts as alarm triggers, allowing for more specific detection of suspicious behavior.
New Tools:
They have introduced Partner Tools in Command, allowing customers to share details about their Command orgs with their trusted partners. Partners can view license status, active support cases, and a six-month case history. Additionally, Support cases in Command provide Org Admins with insights into ongoing and resolved cases within the past 6 months. Case details, including opening dates, initiators, and subjects, are accessible for administrators.
