Our Lead Installation Engineer is responsible for leading our low voltage cabling, surveillance and access control installations. As a leader, you will delegate tasks to crew members, teach apprentices and be responsible for projects from the start to the finish. You will be based out of our Forest Park, Illinois warehouse and will start and end each day at HQ.
As a Lead, you must be knowledgeable in low voltage CAT5/CAT6 cabling and terminating, access control cabling, basic locksmithing and electrified strike installation, sensor installation, camera mounting and complete back-end software system configuring. We will provide training on our system software technology.
You will also be responsible to ensure your crews are maintaining a clean work site, practicing and following safe OSHA workplace regulations, tracking and maintaining tool and equipment inventory and ensure customers are receiving exceptional service.
Additional experience in installing conduit, driving scissor lifts, boom lifts and service vans is also required.
Our Lead Installation Engineer’s are also responsible to visit project locations to build out installation scope and to determine what products, equipment and supplies are needed for the installation.
You must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a criminal background check.
