Jendy physical security warranties serve as a formal assurance that the installation craftsmanship meets professional and industry standards. By offering a warranty, Jendy signals confidence in the quality of its installation work, indicating that systems such as locks, barriers, or access control devices are installed correctly and function as intended. This assurance reduces risk for clients, as it demonstrates that workmanship has been carefully executed rather than rushed or improvised.

These warranties also establish accountability for installation practices. If a security system fails due to improper installation, the warranty provides a clear mechanism for repair or replacement at no additional cost to the client. This accountability encourages installers to follow precise specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and safety protocols, knowing their work is directly tied to long-term performance and warranty obligations.

In addition, Jendy’s physical security warranties reinforce consistency and quality control across projects. Standardized installation procedures are more likely to be followed when workmanship is warrantied, as deviations can lead to failures that trigger warranty claims. This focus on consistency helps ensure that every installation, regardless of size or complexity, delivers reliable protection and durability.

Finally, the warranty strengthens client trust and long-term relationships. Customers gain peace of mind knowing that their investment in physical security is protected not only by robust equipment but also by guaranteed craftsmanship. By standing behind its installation work, Jendy demonstrates professionalism and commitment to excellence, positioning its warranties as a key indicator of high-quality installation craftsmanship.

Our craftsmanship warranty does not cover labor to service or replace manufacturer hardware that is RMD’d due to malfunction.

Jendy Physical Security Craftsmanship Warranty

1. Warranty Coverage

Jendy Physical Security (“Jendy”) warrants that all physical security system installation services—including but not limited to access control systems, video surveillance, alarm systems, structured cabling, networking infrastructure, power supplies, fencing, gates, and related security components—will be performed by Jendy employees in a professional and workmanlike manner. All work shall be executed in accordance with generally accepted industry standards, manufacturer specifications, approved project documentation, and all applicable local, state, and federal codes and life-safety regulations in effect at the time of installation.

2. Warranty Term

Unless otherwise specified in a written agreement, this Craftsmanship Warranty shall remain in effect for a period of the life of client ownership from the date of substantial completion. Substantial completion is defined as the date on which the installed systems are operational and accepted by the customer, excluding minor punch-list items that do not materially impact system functionality or security performance.

3. Warranty Remedy

During the warranty term, Jendy will, at its sole discretion and at no additional cost to the customer, repair or correct any defects in workmanship that are directly attributable to Jendy’s installation services. This remedy includes the labor required to restore the affected installation to proper working condition. Warranty service will be scheduled within a commercially reasonable timeframe following receipt of written notice. This warranty applies solely to workmanship and does not extend or renew the original warranty period.

4. Exclusions

This Craftsmanship Warranty does not cover:

  • Equipment defects, failures, or malfunctions covered under manufacturer warranties

  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, vandalism, accidents, acts of God, or environmental conditions

  • Modifications, repairs, or alterations performed by parties other than Jendy or its authorized representatives

  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic issues, or degradation caused by changes to facility conditions, power, networking, or building infrastructure after installation

  • Failures resulting from improper system operation, insufficient maintenance, or non-compliance with manufacturer guidelines

5. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for providing reasonable access to installed systems for evaluation and repair, maintaining appropriate operating conditions, and ensuring power and network infrastructure remain within required specifications. Failure to meet these responsibilities may void this warranty for affected components or systems.

6. Limitation of Liability

This Craftsmanship Warranty is limited exclusively to the correction of workmanship defects as described herein. Jendy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of business, loss of data, loss of use, or security incidents arising from system downtime or failure. Jendy’s total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the labor cost originally invoiced for the affected portion of the installation.

7. Exclusive Warranty

This Craftsmanship Warranty constitutes the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Jendy with respect to installation workmanship and supersedes all other express or implied warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original customer and the original installation location and is not transferable without Jendy’s prior written consent.
